As we continue on through these winter months what could be better than sharing an UNCLE adventure? Short Affairs are lovely little bit-sized stories which are perfect for those you are unable to write something longer.

Title: “Jump in the line.”

Word count: Approx. 1000

The Russian was in a particularly black mood and made no attempt to hide it. He was laying in a cushy chaise lounge chair provided by the island hotel at which he and his partner were staying, but he looked about as about as happy as a flea in a frying pan.

None of this was lost on Solo who sat on another chaise beside Kuryakin, though all he did was simply stare at his partner until now.

Illya Kuryakin sighed, a little too dramatically, in an effort to tell his partner that he was not interested in hearing about his his dating exploits. If it weren’t for the fact he was stuck with Napoleon, waiting for a dead drop, Illya would have walked away by now. Solo had been talking about the latest woman for almost twenty minutes although, being a gentleman, he didn’t give any graphic details. The Russian was reaching the point of telling the American to shut up, when the woman’s name was finally mentioned.
