Some may say it is unnecessary, or that we have too many MFU communities, etc... I don't care.  I think this is a viable idea and can be helpful in light of the response I had to the suggestion that we post our links to collections and series.
So, I've opened a community on DW, The Man from UNCLE's Writers Collection, specifically for that purpose.  It isn't for posting stories, it is strictly a portal for links to where you have your stories on the web.
The first post has an outline of how it works, and althought it does require membership for which you inquire, that's only a formality that has been useful for spotting trollers and bots.
Take a look, join up and then if you like simply copy and repost your entry where you listed the links to your story collections. Tags are: name; genre; characters.
Please use entire names, like Illya Kuryakin rather than IK, Kuryakin or Illya.  Whole names all around.
What do you think?  It's a beginning, but I think it will serve a purpose in the long run.
Thanks all, you continue to inspire me.

I have three series for Man From Uncle. Links go to AO3, but all are found separately on FF.net as well.

The  Katya Series.
A series of standalone stories that begin with my Lake of Tears Affair, and feature Illya's adoptive daughter Katya. Katya is the daughter of Illya's late brother, whom he encountered during the Lake Of Tears affair. She is being fostered by Napoleon's family. She does not appear as a main character in every story, but she is in the background.

The Raw Recruit Series
Basically an AU, although a believable one, which features the pair at the start of their partnership. There is no Katiya in this series, and details of their backgrounds are changed.

What If? Challenge series
A series of standalone stories that answer the What If? Challenges.

Also for those that are interested, I have:
Origins series;  the beginnings of Sapphire and Steel

The New Arrival; A series of short stories from M*A*S*H

Perhaps not a collection, perse, but here's the AO3 link to the stories from the MFU drabble switch that [livejournal.com profile] anamaryarmygram and I did for a while. I believe hers are only found on AO3; mine are also posted to my FF.Net account under various groupings (100 words, 200 words, and odd word counts, with triple drabbles posted independently).

Putting my list of series here like everyone else, because why not...?

The Boudetase Affair (AO3 or ff.net)--my "Baron of THRUSH" saga, about Napoleon and Illya's first meeting and first year as partners, and their quest to take down Silas Moran, the ambitious and dangerous leader of THRUSH and stop his plan to unleash a paralytic gas to show off THRUSH's muscle. [Complete]

Around the World in 26 Days (AO3 exclusive)--my "world tour" of stories for the ABC Affair challenge that just wrapped up. [Complete]

Spies and the Supernatural (on AO3 and on ff.net in separate pieces here, here, here, and here)--a misadventure in a bizarre Arizona town kicks off a series of supernatural cases for Napoleon and Illya: two people from the past who resemble them, a cursed mirror, and ghostly encounters. Their two spirit doppelgangers return to request help to be able to find peace, and Napoleon and Illya have to find a way to achieve this goal in the hopes of their lives returning to normal. [In-progress]

[livejournal.com profile] glennagirl has a good idea with posting links to series.

This is easy for me to say since it's also easy for me to do. I only have two, I think, and neither is longer than two stories. :-)

books.jpgI know most of the writers, possibly all of us, have various series or collections of stories that we have posted around the globe.  And I realize that most of the time they are listed as such, but it's darned confusing at times to try and track down stories and get them all read in the proper order.
So, here goes.
If you have a series of stories, or a collection, would you please round them up and post links to them here.  It would be nice to have a directory of sorts for everyone, in addition to the posts here on Section VII.
For instance, some of my own series on AO3 are these:
The ABC Affair
The House of Vanya
Once In Love With Amy
Pre-Series Illya

What I'm suggesting is that we have a directory of sorts, of stories that are tied together by a theme, events or a timeline, and post the links here as a permanent record of these collections.  Just do it under your own name as you would a story, list and provide links to the series and tag them with collections.  I'm adding the tag as I post this entry.
I hope you'll do this, and if you haven't already sorted stories into collections, perhaps this will help you begin the process of organizing your work.  It really does help the reader to find and enjoy your stories.
