Writer's Choice - Resilience

This was an entry for the initial run of Quote Me Challenges, in 2013.  I want to point out to my angst-centric cousins that there's a bit of it here, hand in hand with the h/c we like with our morning coffee.  I also found this really wonderful photo on Facebook, courtesy of the UNCLE Agents group there.  I added the sepia tones to aid the ambiance of all the angst that's on its way...

I've read this story four or five times. As you will probably guess, I absolutely love it. I especially like how you showed Illya's reaction to water when he tried to take a shower.

Oh wow, I'm honored that you have read one of mine multiple times. Thanks for sharing :D Yes, it struck me that water might be traumatic, which is ironic since he's in the water so often.
