Writer's Choice - Resilience

This was an entry for the initial run of Quote Me Challenges, in 2013.  I want to point out to my angst-centric cousins that there's a bit of it here, hand in hand with the h/c we like with our morning coffee.  I also found this really wonderful photo on Facebook, courtesy of the UNCLE Agents group there.  I added the sepia tones to aid the ambiance of all the angst that's on its way...

Amazing. One of the best I've read in quite a while - and that is saying a lot considering the quality of writing on this site. Very realistic.
