A perfect way to illustrate how nations can define the populace. I did expect it to be Stalin, but who else would Illya have mourned at that time? Pointing back to his confusion and regrets about idolizing someone who is a monster in anyone's book of villains was very affecting, and shows how even Illya Kuryakin can be taken in by rhetoric when it is part of such a powerful political machine.
