My cousins do all the cooking for Thanksgiving, and it's very basic, I've tried to bring over some tantalizing 'different' dishes, but they get looked at like they've got cooties in them. My family's tastes are very limited.
I can never have them over as they are afraid and or allergic to cats, even in I sequestered Bowie to the bedroom...
For Christmas we have an English dinner with roast beef or filet mignon, Yorkshire puddings and the trimmings, plus paper crowns and favors, all thanks to Vic, my cousin's other half who's from London.
