“Stop that?” Solo mumbled
“Stop what?”
“The pen. It sounds like you’re banging on a drum.”
“Hangover ?”
“Yes. I went out with Giselle Blanchet and she can really drink.”
“Wine?”
“ She downed glass after glass, and I followed suit hoping she’d loosen up a bit, if you know what I mean.”
“French wine?”
“Mmmm.”
“You forget she is from France where they drink wine like it is water, even children. You would never have been able to outlast her.”
“I’ll have to remember that.”
