Very good. Loved the fate of Faulkner. I normally do not like "crossovers" as a general rule - some are good...this one was.

Thank you! This barely counts as a crossover though, and least in my mind. The epilogue is what really made it a crossover...but not. Glad you enjoyed the story!

Glennagirl and I wrote a crossover with a pre-NCIS Ducky that came out pretty good. It's called the Double Blond Affair.

It was actually a call and response story, and considering that fact it stayed pretty well on track. Plus it was a lot of fun to write.

Yes, I've read that one as well. There was another NCIS one I read that I really enjoyed but can't remember who wrote it or the title - Ducky was a cover identity for Illya which he took after he thought NS was killed - Ducky's mother was the innocent they were trying to protect. Gibbs had sometime in the past figured it out. There is a person stalking Ducky and it turns out to be NS. It was very good.

I think that story sounds familiar. Am sure I read it once, and like you I can't recall who wrote it or the title.

If you're a fan of NCIS, I wrote a long Ducky-centric story called "The Game of Life"...

Ducky goes back to Scotland to revisit his past and to recoup after his heart is broken by a woman. Of course there is an NCIS case that somehow collides with him at home.

I was somehow meant to write this story as where I have Ducky's family members living, I discovered completely by accident (when telling a Scottish fiddler friend) that his own family had a summer cottage there. He gave me details that only a local would know and you'd never find researching on the internet. The odds that I chose this particular remote Scottish town were astronomical.

Hope you like it. When doing the UK research for roads and how to travel from one city to another I was help by our cousin Reapermum, who gave me really good directions and some landmarks to make it sound like I really knew where I was going. lol!
