It took me about 4 attempts at different genres before I gave up and went back to the story I finally posted.
It was started a long time ago, originally for the 50th anniversary mini-bang. Then the story stalled and I ended up writing "The Lost in war affair" for the mini-bang.
"A Monstrous Affair" was just too perfect not to use for the Crossover Challenge, though it was a struggle to finish it and address some continuity issues and character changes. Mark and April were not originally in the story, and I was using two original characters. It made sense to make the changes to all UNCLE agents involved for the most part.
