We really did need something to give us a proper closing to that episode. The only reference to what IK has been through is when he stretches his back after hopping down out of the tree (after planting the bomb that kills that fellow)... What a lousy way to make a living. No wonder he needed to rant.
An 'after the episode ends' story is really the best kind.
