I got headaches from certain beers, never vodka. (my favorite too) When I was leaving for a trip to Ireland the pub where we had our session gave us a little send off, and people kept sending over vodka martinis to me. A single martini has 3 shots of vodka in them, and these were going down like water. My boyfriend got drunk as a skunk, and I was sober as a judge after 4...or was it 5 drinks. Can't recall, it was back in 1993.

Next day, didn't have a hangover, headache...nothing. My boyfriend on the other hand was pretty banjaxed. He forgot to pack things.( I was darned if I was going to do it for him) That trip actually signaled the beginning of the end of our relationship...thank goodness.

Now I can't drink at all anymore, and it sucks...oh well.
