This is not a holiday-based story I'm afraid, but this is a superb piece called Mind Game, by Avery11 which sets my imagination reeling and whizzing every time I read it (several times now, believe me!), so I thought it thoroughly deserves an airing here on LJ today. The link is to AO3. Illya is having to undergo psychiatric evaluation following his capture and torture.
