I'm using that line for a purpose.
This isn't a Round Table, but I thought I'd check in and see how people are doing, what you're thinking and planning for the coming weeks as Summer approaches.
Here on Section VII we keep our challenges going year round, with breaks in the schedule once in a while to allow folks to catch up or just relax, whichever the case may be.  With summer coming up, I'm wondering how everyone is looking schedule wise, and whether or not we need a hiatus on some of our challenges.
Feel free to comment on this, it's just a fishing expedition.  We won't close shop but we might slow the pace a little if that's how it will keep everyone feeling creative but not pressed to get out a product.
Does that make sense?

I hope to be writing over the summer; I hope at least the Short Affair will continue? I like how it's set up--a choice of prompts, and it doesn't have to be long at all.

I like the wide variety of challenges, but I understand people are unable to do all of them. I still haven't got around to last week's pic fic yet.
I'm happy to keep the Short Affair going as it is.

I'm wondering about the "What If?" challenge. There haven't been any new prompts for several weeks. I know you're not feeling your best. Do you want to shelve it for a while?

You're right, it's been a month since the last prompt. Every week is easier to remember, that's my excuse. I think I'd like to revamp the scheduling a bit, but not today.

The semester's almost over here (just finals, which I don't have to take auditing.)

I ought to be able to get something out, no matter how bad it is (I'm not that confident in my writing skills, in spite of the fact that I'm in my fifties and a college student.)

Good for you on being back in school. I know it can't be easy to adjust to to that, more like a bad dream for me ;) I still have dreams about math classes I can't figure out.
The challenges will continue, so write when you can.
