I am really enjoying this story and can't wait for the next installment. Thanks for not making us wait too long! I've never been an Angelique fan, but Angel is very believable and much more to my liking.
Thank you for commenting! I had originally thought of posting a chapter every other day, but decided stretching a story out for more than a month could cause readers to lose interest.
In my head, Angelique is not what she appears to be; she pulled herself up by her bootstraps to become a wealthy spy before retiring. Illya is beginning to see the person she used to be.
