Love your unique use of the prompt! I've been to many model aircraft competitions but never saw a blimp at any of them. I wonder why not.

The Model aircraft is a world I've never been part off, so I have no idea if a model airship has ever existed.

I'm certain it did. There was a tornado in the city I live in back in 1924. It devastated the downtown area and spread debris miles away. My Dad was one year old at the time. A toy dirigible made from metal, a ride-on toy landed in his parent's backyard. It was a little dented, but it worked. We still have it.
