It's so interesting to write a description of the two men using someone else's point of view. The view can vary and provide an insight into the different POVs' characters too. This piece works so well, and we still know no more about Kuryakin than before, which is clever, except that the relationship with Solo is part of him. Thanks for a rewarding read.

I didn't see the 2015 film - I hadn't rediscovered MFU at that point, and when I did, that film didn't look right. Like you, I think, I saw the series first time round, so no other actors could possibly take the place of the originals. Like you, too, I suspect, I like to stick filling in gaps in canon.

I have a DVD of the 1983 film, however, which is a travesty too, but offered a big gap and scope for a tidy-up storyline. My first attempts at writing fiction at all, never mind in this genre, took that route. (It's my "All in honour" series).

I've added you to my Friends list, hope that's ok.

There's a tab at the top of someone's page (click on their name in a post to get to it) for adding them as a friend. I'm fairly new to this forum and genre myself, so I'm not quite sure whether you're meant to do something else to get their posts automatically - haven't worked that out yet. Someone may add a more helpful response - hope so.
