That's why I didn't want to reveal who it really was (I do in my story) That way it was left free to interpretation.

I'm sort of on my Cossack kick right now, so the icon is tied into a few of those stories. When I finish posting Birds of Prey, I'll start posting "Zaporoche"

This picfic hinted at things about it...plus Randomness chapter 20 sort of outlines the story, and inspired it.
