Totally feel you! I use Firefox on my teenybopper Mac, and the computer (its name is Lanark) is still perky and wonderful but the browser demands updates but when I try to update my Firefox, the site tells my my computer's operating system is too old so it won't do it!
And here I thought I was all set forever with my supercharger old Mac. Unfortunately, while the machine itself endures beautifully, the software companies are pressuring me to get a new one anyway.
