Liked the story, but honestly I never bought the "bodyguard" bit.

Waverly was always the one, after all, who would say time and time again things like: "Mr. Solo can take care of himself", "Mr. Solo is at his best when he is in trouble", every time Illya would propose "rescuring" Napoleon. So no, the bodyguard bit just isn't something I see.
