Writer's Choice: Homeland Affair by AJ Burfield
I had lost this story and recently found it again. It's an oldie but goodie from 2001, and one of my all time favorites. It's brilliantly written and very well researched. It has a wonderful, multi-dimensional original character and just a lovely amount of whump.
