Did you mean to switch tenses like that? Why I ask is that in the beginning it is present tense from Polnoch's POV and then it suddenly switches to past tense third person. Anyway I think it's a very nice story and glad that Polnoch and Rebecca are going to be friends. Good thing Illya doesn't have to choose between one or the other since I'm not sure which one he would choose in that case. LOL
