OMG I remember that movie where they drilled the holes in the back of people's heads. 1953 "Invaders from Mars" scared the heck out of me when I was a kid. Hmm the expressionless faces, reminds me of "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the original). Great additions to The Writer's Choice, after all the call was to post Halloween-ish stories, and I equate that with anything creepy. :F
