Yes I couldn't even begin to imagine the courage it would take to do that, but considering what April would have faced over and above the normal interrogation and torture, I guessed it would be the better move for her. She's not a high level agent really like Solo and Kuryakin so she might not have been as valuable a captive. yikes.

Yet as you said her luck at surviving the suicide pill taught everyone a lesson, including Mr. Waverly.
