I posted two more chapters of The Treasure Island Affair. It’s not finished yet, but it’s gradually getting there. Chapter 12 has a scene in the Mask Club, which is a fun location to imagine.

I’ve posted another chapter of The Treasure Island Affair. I’d hug my muse if I could.

Way back when the Crossover Challenge was posted, I had the idea to use Arsene Lupin Returns, a light, fun detective film from 1938 which I enjoy. (You can watch the original trailer on YouTube here. The entire film is also out there to stream.)

In this chapter it was finally time to bring in one of the characters from the film (played by Warren William on the left), which was a great reason to rewatch it a few times.

Waaaay back during our Crossover Challenge, I had an idea that never got off the ground. I started thinking about it again recently, and this piece was the result. I’m hoping my muse will continue to inspire. (The crossover is not with the Treasure Island novel. I have a hard time with titles, and it’s the best I could do. 😁)

You can post within the 'official' dates of June 10 -18, or if that's not going to work out, just post it with the tag crossover challenge at a later date. The challenge is centered around MFU, of course, with a crossover fandom of your choice. All genres are welcome at Uncle du Jour, and we're definitely looking forward to some creative license when it comes to mixing and mingling with folks from another 'verse... or fandom. Whatever floats your boat.
Have fun and join us there. The posting is open ended, so if you aren't ready at the starting gate you can always join in at a later date.

The target date for posting to this challenge is June 10-18, but after those dates entries are still welcome. This is fun stuff after all, and not an assignment.
The posting and information site for the Crossover Challenge is UNCLE du Jour, a community that was originally started by kitty4940 and is now under new management with mrua7 at the helm. She lets me help out a little ;)
Although Section VII is the starting point for this challenge, it will be necessary to join uncle_du_jour in order to post.
Okay then, join the poll, sign up for the challenge and get to writing and creating!

I think we have a good response going to this challenge, and I'm going to go ahead and post some details here for everyone.
Two months from today is Friday, June 10. I'm setting that as our target date for posting the challenge stories. The stories will post in uncle_du_jour If you haven't already joined that site then now is the time. We'll be posting updates both here and on UdJ, but sign-ups will be on that site.
