Evening - A Little Drabble Do Ya

Dusk was settling in over the little town where Napoleon Solo kept watch as his partner completed an exchange with a THRUSH informant.

Napoleon wondered who lived here; the setting was very picturesque.  He saw lights coming on, a sign of the approaching night.

Illya finished, discreetly handing off a payment as the documents were given to the Russian.  He turned towards his American partner, noting the wistful expression on his face.

“Do not let this scene fool you, my friend.  Their lives have as many difficulties as any other town in the world.”

“I suppose.  Looks can be deceiving."

A very interesting and unexpected point that Illya makes. Very nice.

May be deceiving, but it doesn't hurt to daydream.

A nice scene... Like Illya reminding his friend about appearance and prejudice...

Very lovely, Glenna! And that photo! Wow.

I used to have the same feeling in Spain. The scenery was amazing, and I was far from home. But after living there a while, yes, they had the same scary stuff going on in their lives, too.
*sigh*

Nice ficlet. :-)
