Back to Nature - A Little Drabble Do Ya

“It is a lovely day, Napoleon.  Perhaps you would like to join me for lunch in the park.”

Napoleon Solo always thought it somehow odd when his partner yielded to his naturalist aesthetic.  He supposed it was consistent with the brooding Russian to revert to the elements periodically.

“You feeling okay, tovarisch?  Anything driving you to the great outdoors?”

Illya cocked his head to one side, his eyes a blue shade that rivaled the sky overhead.

“It is good for the soul, my friend, and we must always take stock of that part of our being.”

Napoleon marveled at that.

The soul does need looking after also. Nice

Very nice, and that comment made by Illya is perhaps a glimpse into his very soul. Once he doesn't give often.

This is what I love about Illya -- under the careful caution of the spy is this glorious, pure soul, unsullied by the terrible things he has seen. Lovely image.
