It was serene in Central Park; the weather was warm and sunny. The leaves of gold and red were still on the trees, but a slight breeze would make a few drift to the ground.

Napoleon sat on a bench, talking away as he’d just finished eating his dirty water hot dog with satisfaction.

“Would that it stayed like this,” he said to Illya.”Indian summer is marvelous, isn’t it?”

Illya was nodding off and promptly sneezed.

“Gesundheit. You have a cold?”

“No, just some allergies.”

“I’m afraid to ask, but to what are you allergic?”

“You... keeping me awake.”

Illya's allergies were noted in one episode where he was handed a bouquet of flowers (for saving and Evita-like political figure) and he sneezed. So a made up allergy to 'chatter' is more fun though.

Thank you. Napoleon, I think...likes to get back at his partner for some of his annoying habits (at least in my stories) Sometimes they're like two kids.

Makes me miss living In a state with actual fall weather. Glad Napoleon's hot dog wasn't ruined by "inferior mustard." And I do love when they needle each other.

Ahhhh, but it's the onions that are the killer on his hot dogs. Ick.

I'd miss the change of seasons... Indian summer and Spring are my favorites. Summer is too hot and winter is too cold, still I don't mind them 'passing' through.

It was sunny and in the 60's here, but getting cold tonight.

Most of my family is in Florida now. My brother is in Miami, his daughters are up in Spring Hill where a lot of our cousins relocated as well. We're all originally from Long Island.

Too funny! I went to nursery school at Christ Episcopal Church on Kings Hwy. My dad had his law practice in Middletown. It's been years and years since I've lived there though.

Went to St. Mary's and Mater Dei. I moved back here after being away for about 20 years, though my immediate family had already moved to Florida. So only the cousins are left.
