The Randomness of Life Chapter 16~ for A Little Drabble Do Ya

 Prompted by : Flowers—Well—if anybody ~Emily Dickinson

Anybody find the fountain

Do you think Thrush has lost their mind on this one? Napoleon asked.

If you call traipsing through St. Augustine, looking for the fountain of youth...then yes. It is mere myth, urban legend.” Illya said with disdain.

“Believable enough for the Old Man to sent us after them, tovarisch.

Have a system of aesthetics—

Napoleon walked into his partners spartan apartment. In all these years
Illya had yet to put up curtains, simply using the yellowing shades to keep his   privacy intact.

“How can you live like this?”

“I do not need much,”” He answered, misting the pale orchid on his kitchen  window sill.

Thank you. Those are both really good ficlets.

The first one - why on earth didn't Thrush ever do that? That would have made such a perfect episode. Indeed, film. (Insert hint about more of this affair here.)

And the second one - so Illya! 'Pale orchid' is exactly the right flower, too.

edit: on my old dial up I'd read your post - both times with pleasure - and commented before the picture downloaded. It's a beautiful picture, and thank you for that, too.

Encouraging gestures from this direction. Besides the good plot, I personally love fics set in the South. Glennagirl's just written Sweet and Southern, to remind us Illya will probably like a Southern setting, too.

Thanks for the rec. I'll read the synopsis, anyway. Good films are very hard to find in Nelson. (Especially on television.)

I can picture the blond watering his orchid... lovely image, and very believable.
