A Wonderful Story for Writer's Choice

Because File 40 will soon be gone, I've been copying my favorites to my Google Drive and came across this story by Valentina. It's a Christmas tale that always tugs at my heartstrings. If you're an Illya girl, this tale's for you. It's called "Madonna and Child"

Yay you finally made it to Writer's Choice. Thanks for rec-ing this one!

Sadly the link will only be good for a short time, though the stories will be archived, but still hard to find.

The way back as I see it is just a calendar listing dates when something was posted so to find a particular story is difficult.

I didn't realize File 40 was going away. Why is that happening? Are the stories being archived anywhere?

Yeah, I have trouble navigating Wayback as well. Very confusing. I wonder why she didn't import the stories to AO3--it's easy to navigate, and very well organized.

This one always brings tears to my eyes. Read it first on File40.....now here. So sorry to see File 40 go away. Will there be any way to read them?

Thank you very much for finding this one, and pointing it out to us.

Actually,I think Napoleon girls must like it a lot, too. Waverly's part, though brief, is also fine.

A beautiful, moving story. It does indeed tug at the heartstrings! Thanks for the rec.
