WARNING

This is currently for sale on Ebay for $25. It is not even the published version of the story. I can't imagine who got their hands on an old typed beta copy.

It is not slash. And it is freely available online. It's on Fafiction.net and I will now put it on AO3.

Do not buy this. I have sent a note to the seller to please take it down.

Thanks for the heads up [livejournal.com profile] lindafishes8

I had noticed a wave of MFU fanzines surfacing on ebay recently and wondered how many of them were legit. What people will do sometimes...sheesh.

Can Ebay be contacted as well as the seller...though there's no stopping a seller from showing up under a different account I suppose.

Lisa Madden and I met last week. She's the publisher of the Kuryakin Files. She told me she went to Media West in Michigan recently and Linda Cornett was there and sold all of her zines to one person. I'll bet that's who's selling the zines.

I bought "The Kuryakin Files" printed zine from her so now I have a hard copy of the publication with one of my stories in it. YAY! And Lisa's a very friendly gal. We have plans to get together again.

Maybe, but there's been a glut of zines on Ebay for a while, different sellers. Cool you got to meet Lisa!

I miss having the hard copies of Kuryakin Files. I had stories in the last two printed issues before she went digital There's no comparison to having a story on line to seeing it in hard copy. Your story in a book is just so cool, but I guess old school now.
