A Little Drabble Do Ya - More of Going Back

Last week I drabbled the beginning of a longer story, and today I'm adding a drabble's worth to it.  The back story and first reference to the events involved are found HERE.
First is last week's entry...
...................................

Part 1

Illya was staring at someone, transfixed by a memory.  Napoleon waited a few minutes before finally interrupting whatever was holding the Russian's attention.

"Illya, we are here to do a job you know.  What is it?"  He saw something on his partner's face that made him stop.

"That man, the one in the sunglasses and hat.  He… there is something very familiar about him."

Napoleon squinted, hoping to get a clearer image.  Nothing stood out.  Slim face, full lips… slight build… large, expressive hands.

"Illya?"

"It can't be.  They took him away.  My mother died at the hands of his accuser"  Illya was pale from the encounter with memories of his parents.

"Perhaps it is merely someone who resembles him.  How would he have gotten here?"

"The same way I did, as an agent."

"Whose?"

"Perhaps I should ask him."  Napoleon shook his head.

"Are you certain?  There must a million other men in the world who might look like you, like your… "

"Father?  You saw it the same as I did.  He looks like me, he has the same build… Napoleon, my father is alive and he's standing over there in that group of men watching a chess match."

Part 2

Illya was stunned at what appeared to be a miracle; his father was across from him here in New York.  But it wasn't a miracle, it was something else.
Betrayal perhaps.
How was it that the man who had been taken away in the dark of night all of those years ago could be here now?
A person would have to give something back to his abductors in order to stand free from them.  What had Nicolai Kuryakin done that would win his release from the fate he had faced all of those years ago?
Illya intended to find out.

Amazing how just 100 words can build such drama. Looking forward to the continuation of the mystery.

You've really ramped the tension up with those few words. Can't wait for more.
