"Food for thought"-for A Little Drabble Do Ya!
The wind stopped, leaving two UNCLE agents listening to silence. Nothing moved, not a leaf or branch; there was no fluttering of pigeon wings.
“Nice to have such stillness in the middle of New York city.” Napoleon bit into his sandwich.
Sitting on a park bench, taking their lunch; they needed some fresh air.
“Not for long,” Illya drew a paper bag from his pocket. Taking out bird seed; he tossed it to the ground.
Birds surrounded them, jockeying for position to get to more food in Illya’s palm.
“Tovarisch, did you have to do that?”
“They are hungry too…”

The picture actually came after the drabble was finished. I was looking for one with pigeons feeding on the ground, but then found this one, so I changed the drabble to suit it.

Great drabble all the same :-)

I baby or bird sat my brother's Lilac Crested Amazon parrot for a year while he was working in the Virgin Islands. Great bird...
Anyway, thanks for the comment and glad you liked the drabble.
I'm sure Napoleon wasn't happy because of the potential for bird 'poop' on his suit. (evil laugh)
