"Again?" for A Little Drabble Do Ya!

“Tap-tap.Knock. Tap-tap. Knock-knock.”

“What’s that noise,” Napoleon asked.

Illya was driving and cocked his head, listening to the cacophony coming from the engine. He stopped the car alongside the rural road on which they were traveling.

“BOOM!” Steam shot up from beneath the hood.

Kuryakin stormed out, carefully raising the hood to find the antifreeze container had a hole in it.

“The motor pool just gave our car a clean bill of health,” Napoleon sidled up alongside his partner.

“Someone will pay for this,” the Russian growled.

“Had to happen in the middle of nowhere,” Napoleon sighed.

“Of course.”

(evil laugh) This was inspired by my car having to go back to the mechanic for the same problem....check engine light on, in 30. The first repair cost me an arm and a leg and I red them the riot act about it. Not the problem described in this drabble...but that did actually happen to my old car.

Keep your fingers crossed by car will be okay. I really don't have the money for another costly repair.

No word of a lie, my best mate had to take her car back four time for a check engine light. It wasn't until the fourth time that they realised the fault wasn't in the engine. It was the sensor which was faulty.

They already replaced two oxygen sensors...dreading what else it could be. They did a full diagnostic the first time so I find it hard to believe anything could have just 'gone bad' in such a short period of time without them seeing something. sigh.

The inspiration for this is because I'm feeling frustrated as my check engine light is on again, after having the problem fixed barely 30 days ago. So car is in the shop again! I swear I have a black cloud over me.

Went to Shop Rite to pick up a few basics that I was out of like bread, cat food, litter...then dropped off the car. sigh.

So aren't you lucky to be in Vegas, you're going to miss this snow storm that may actually be our first blizzard. So weird 62 today, snow tomorrow! Mother Natire is smoking doobies again. lol!
