Where To Post?

We do need to discuss this and create some uniformity.
Where will you be posting?  One or two people have already stated that they will no longer post to LJ, using DW exclusively.  If that's the case, the question is this: Do we then transfer those entries to the LJ comm, or do you not wish to be represented here at all?
I am currently having to import LJ entries to the DW site, but if people start posting there instead without a desire to represented here on LJ, please tell me or state that in your Dw post.  It's a bit of time involved doing these transfers, and save for the days I'm at home right now due to a recent asthma event, I won't have a lot of time for this activity on most days.
So, let's get some feedback while we're at it. Please feel free to express your opinions, concerns or whatever you feel safe stating here.  At this time we are not recommending Private Messaging via Live Journal, especially on this topic.  Call me paranoid ;)

Frankly, I'm not sure what to do.

For a year or two now, I've had a hard time posting to LJ over my computer, especially for graphics and photos. It takes forever to load even to put a comment up.

So, I've been cross-posting from DW here for my own journal and hardly commenting over on LJ because it takes too long. Indeed, most of my personal and fannish activity has moved to FB because it's easier.

I am grateful to have DW but sometimes, I was lazy and didn't back up here what was over on LJ. Now I will. I will also purge any fiction [especially the x-rated stuff] from my LJ because I don't want the owners over there to have access.

So I guess right now we're a community in transition but maybe it will sort out.

Regarding whether or not I'm leaving LJ, that would be, more accurately... Not Yet. I suppose a lot of us feel that way.

I might be a bit choosey about my PMs, but other than that, I'm staying here, doing what I've always done.

I'm undecided all the way and will probably do whatever the majority decide to do. I dislike the new user agreement, but I really have almost nothing that anyone would want to use, sell, or could successfully blackmail me with, so I doubt I will be personally affected.

I think I already have a DW account that I have never used; currently trying to recover my password. I'll try to play around with it to see how I feel about moving.

Personally I think I will follow mrua7's lead and post links on LJ to posts elsewhere...on DW or elsewhere. I don't tend to post personal messages on LJ anyway. I will quit using the personal blog feature. don't mind DW, but am having trouble finding my way around it.

I'm still going to post on LJ, will only be links to my stories that are on AO3 and FF.net. will no longer post text here. Won't be using the pm service unless I have to, and will be clearing out my journal. Will be keeping use of that to a minimum...well, way less than I used to, which wasn't much anyway. "D
