A little over a year ago we had a HODOWE challenge centered around Left-Handers Day.  Part of the fun here at S7 is that so many subjects find their way into our stories.  This was no exception, and [livejournal.com profile] carabele provided some interesting prompts for us during the year of HODOWE.  That stands for Holidays of Dubious Origins Writing Event.  Follow the tag left-handers day or go HERE for the page with the stories.

Warri Nigeria. The streets crowded with people, some dressed in traditional garb, others wearing modern clothing, but standing out among them were the soldiers of Nzeogwu, the leader of the corrupt military coup that had recently taken over the country.  Dressed in their green uniforms, carrying their Russian Kalashnikov rifles and machine guns; they patrolled the streets ensuring their presence was evident to all.
