[livejournal.com profile] mfu_scrapbook hosted a Valentine Challenge that posted yesterday.
You can read the one I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] ssclassof56

More from Valentine's Day and the Archives

A few people left kudos on this story,
which prompted me to go back and read it again.
I thought it might be worth a rec here.
You can find it on AO3...

"Fat Tuesday" ( Le Mardi Gras de la mort/the Mardi Gras of death)

This was a story I posted a few years ago.  Reposting today is a bit late since Mardi Gras or 'Fat Tuesday is the last day of the Carnival season as  always falls on the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.

"Once Bitten" a Valentine's Day Story

This was posted yesterday for the Scrapbook challenge as a gift for JantoJones.

Her request: I would like something dark please. Illya-centric, TV based, and gen or gen mature. (Be as explicit as you like, if the mood takes you that way.) The photo is her prompt.

Posting Again

Reminder

HODOWE Is Back!

CHALLENGE: Write an MFU fanfic story regarding the ideas embodied in International Mother Language Day or World Thinking Day.  If you click on the links you will see how these holidays (one post MFU and the other predating the series), both play into the mission and mindset of what UNCLE and its mission emcompases.
The story doesn't have to necessarily mention or include the day by name; just embody a scenario that fits the concept behind it. You might do a little research to better understand the holiday, but it is a concept, not an actual celebration of the day that we're after.

STATISTICAL STUFF: Minimum of 500 words with no set maximum. Must fit into the overall concepts of this community, e.g., contain no explicit adult material and reflect the 1960s series in style and content.

Wednesday Feb 21, 2018 International Mother Language Day
Thursday Feb 22, 2018 World Thinking Day
Posting will begin on February 21 and run through the following week, officially closing on the 27th.  Of course we're lax here, so the main thing is write a story and share it.
I hope you'll join in and help us celebrate six years of writing on Section VII.
