What if April and Illya were partners, Napoleon and Mark best buds and partners.

Previously I posted my story for this challenge based upon April and Illya...but Mark Slate has been nagging me to let him put his word in; so I have added chapter 2 to this challenge story. PARTNERS. Links go to AO3 and to FF.NET

Well done! Just a suggestion, you should list what the prompt on AO3 is as the story is out of context without it. Anyone just reading it on AO3 who's not aware of the challenge prompt won't get the 'What-if"...if it's not there for them to connect it to the story.

looking up FF.net takes me to another site....weird. Perhaps it should be Fanfiction.net? I tried your link again, the link shows but doesn't open.

It is odd. I just know that when I posted the link, I did what I always do and copied the address line for the story itself on fanfiction. I just typed FF.Net as the line to link to, to save the time of typing out fanfiction in full as the name of the link.(I'm sure you know what I mean by that ). But even now, each time I click that link, it takes me straight to the story on FF.

I've already left kudos on the whole work, so I'll comment here about how very good this is. Mark's voice is solid all through, and most involving. I love it all, but have to mention his own 'what-if', and the map reading. Also, I now think Napoleon and Mark would have made a great partnership.

Thank you for the comments. I'm glad the story was okay! I could have posted it at the time, but somehow I was uncertain about it then...

I did not add Mark's own What-If comment because I posted it as chapter two of April and Illya's story. However, you are probably correct, so I have now added it to the chapter two teaser on AO3.

Sorry about some of the links not working. I always check links before I post, so I don't know what happened with that one. Perhaps a slip of the mouse...? Apparently the AO3 link on DW wouldn't work either, but the FF.Net link worked fine...strange.
