Speaking of Best Episodes, Raise Your Hand..

I realized that I posted this on my journal page instead of here, so now it's in the right place ;)

... if you think that Strigas was the best episode ever made for MFU.  I never tire of it, and looking at this clip makes me want to watch it when I get home from work today.  The story is a preview of what would become Mission Impossible, and the delightful first encounters between the future Captain Kirk and Spock (William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, respectively), is a part of television history.
Kuryakin in disguise, Solo in a tux and then, to our surprise, Mr. Waverly playing hardball.   Awesome stuff.

This was perhaps the greatest episode of the series and had the makings of a true spy drama. Shame the writing veered away from that as the series progressed.
The black and white definitely contributed to the mood, dare I say almost 'noir' feeling? Yes, awesome stuff for sure!

Strigas is one of my favourites with too many noteworthy elements to mention. I love the part just after Illya 'commits suicide' and Napoleon has to hurriedly reform the plan. We get to see the master strategist at work. I also love it when we see the dangerous side of Illya as he cracks his knuckles to back up Waverly's threat to Linkwood.

Spy drama at its finest.

It really is a favorite of mine in so many ways - the humor, the plotting within plotting. I would place it in the top 5 easily, and it might well be the best one. I have to argue for ones like Dove in that category, though (even though Illya is absent).

Definitely one of my very favorites. It was so tightly plotted and had such great touches of humor. Another big favorite was the Shark Affair.
