A Plea to Our Wonderful Readers

Both4.jpg

An open request to all our readers,

Writers of any kind, in all media types, require one thing to make their writing truly worthwhile, and that is you, the reader.

Whilst there is a lull in writing here on Section VII (and believe me, I'm aware my own output is seriously lacking of late), I know we still have plenty of readers for the stories posted. What I would like to request, however, is that you let the writers know when you enjoy a piece. You don't even need to leave a comment since LJ gave us that handy little heart button. Plus, of course, on AO3 there is the 'kudos' button.

Many writers put a great deal of research and hard work into their stories. So, it may sound like I'm begging, but a writer needs to know that their efforts are being appreciated.

Thank you all for your continued support.

JantoJones

Art in any form will flourish when the creator can absorb the response of an audience. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the reminder! I look forward to all of the stories -- but I'm guilty of not taking the time to comment or at least hit the love button.

Good reminder.
I don't read much lately, but when I do I always leave a comment. (I hate the "like" button SOOOOOOOO much, but that's another story, and it's better than not leaving anything at all for the author.)
