They walked into the elegant hotel foyer.

Napoleon went over to the receptionist.

“Excuse moi, Madam. A gentleman just arrived a few minutes ago?”

“Ah, oui. Monsieur Dubois, he is staying here.”

“Could you tell us which room?”

“Sorry Monsieur, I cannot do that.”

Solo pulled out a wallet.

“He dropped this and we’d like to return it to him.”

“I can return it for you, monsieur.”

“I’d rather do it personally.”

Illya nudged him, indicating a seating area.

“We will wait for him, Madame.” The Russian smiled.

They retreated to a sofa.

“Room 473,” he told Napoleon.

“Smart Russian.”

I really like this, but my brain must be stuck on "slow" today because I didn't get how Illya found out the Room number. BTW, your photo manip is terrific.
