I know it isn't Writer's Choice Day, but . . .
I was having a wander through the archives, and I came upon a drabble written on 13th January 2016, by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mrua7 which made me literally laugh out loud (Just like it did the first time). I'd been writing MFU fic for less than 2 years at that point, and it seems I already had a certain reputation.
This was Mrua7's drabble.
Napoleon and Illya relaxed in their office. Leaning back in their chairs; they had their feet resting on the desktops.
“Nice little vacation tovarisch; no torture, no angst…”
“Except for last Wednesday when they came back.”
“Yes, but it’s been quiet since then. Just think we have nearly another week left.”
Their office door burst opened and in charged April. The partners, completely startled, fell backwards to the floor.”
“Finally! I’m free of that darned Map Room closet!” *
“Oh no! That means they must be back,” Solo moaned.”Illya? Where are you?”
“Under my desk. I am hiding from JantoJones...”
We were all returning from a writing break and my own drabble from the same day went with a similar theme.
“Welcome back,” Napoleon greeted his partner, as the blond sat down at his desk. “I trust you enjoyed your break and are ready to get back into the swing of things.”
“It was wonderfully relaxing at first,” Illya replied, “I actually did very little, but then I started thinking about what was awaiting my return.”
“What do you mean?”
“I don’t normally put much store into such things,” the Russian explained. “But, I’ve had a growing feeling of dread. Like there are people out there who are actively looking forward to hurting me.”
Napoleon snorted. “You’re just being paranoid, Tovarisch.”
Poor Illya has such a hard time with me, he probably thinks I'm with Thrush :-D
