New Daily Challenge ... Word of the Day

Just because we need another reason to write, here's something anyone can have fun with.  I hope a few of you non-writers will join in on this because it's as simple as, well, one sentence.
Word of the Day, courtesy of Word Genius, will be the prompt to write one sentence using this new word and thereby adding it to your vocabulary (if it isn't already there).
Just post a sentence in the comments and watch for others as they are added.
I'm hoping for lively participation.
And here's today's word:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6

Logy

Part of speech: adjective
Origin: unknown, 19th century

Lacking vitality
Sluggish or lethargic

EXAMPLES OF LOGY IN A SENTENCE:

  1. My parents did not appreciate my logy approach to cleaning the dishes.

  2. I slept poorly last night, so I am feeling logy and slow this morning.

Though he would take frequent catnaps while on assignment, Illya Kuryakin for the most part was not what one would describe as lodgy; Napoleon might disagree.

As they faced the Thrush guard, today's "Word of the Day" from his newspaper popped into Napoleon's mind, "He's the definition of Logy, IK"

(Sorry I looked it up in the OED, their definition, "Dull and heavy in motion or thought.")

“I am not logy,” Napoleon protested, struggling to raise himself onto one elbow. Angelique’s feline smile swam before his eyes. “Dirty pool, love. What was in that drink?”

My mother is the only person I’ve heard use this word. :)

Mr. Waverly glared as his two agents slowly flipped through the briefing folder. "Oh do have some coffee gentlemen...I can't afford logy behaviour this morning!" Illya smirked, Napoleon looked confused.

Glenna wants me to write a sentence, but I'm feeling logy and uninspired. ;-)

This is a cool idea! I bet there'll be more takers once people catch onto it. No one logy here today, giving it a great start!

Agent Kuriakin glanced at Agent Morris, who was laying on his back in a sunbeam, his forepaws tucked against his breastbone and his rear paws stretched out and crossed.

"Being a bit logy, aren't you?"

"Purr."

I apologize for writing more than one sentence here (bad habit.)

"Come on Ik, rise and shine ! This is no time to be logy !" Napoleon insisted while tried to raise the Russian out of his drugged state, so they could make their escape from the Satrapy.
