Roll Call?

I'll admit to being curious about how it's going for everyone, whether or not we're still having visitors, people checking to see what's being posted.  I can look at the stats and see numbers and the 'anonymous' lurkers, but I wonder how many are willing to just tick the heart icon to say you were here.

I'd expect that in these times, the internet activity is increased because of the stay at home orders we've mostly received.  Kentucky isn't on a severe lockdown, but we started early with following the recommendations and have kept our number of cases fairly low, thankfully.  Of course the landlocked states have fared the best in all of this, as opposed to the coastal states that have a steady stream of people due to shipping, tourism and any number of reasons for landing there.

Here on Section VII it would be nice to know how you're doing.  Some post on a regular basis, so we're accounted for.  Marian has moved and is in her new apartment, but she won't have internet for awhile.  I talk to her everyday, and can tell you that she's surrounded by boxes and still finishing up with the cleaning duties at the old apartment.  Kitties are all good, and the process of living in a new place has begun.

How about the rest of you, can you check in and let us know you're doing okay?  If you're willing, just respond in the comments.  Connecting is important, and I hope y'all will do that here.

My husband and myself are retired and living on the coast of Washington State. We are one of the hardest hit states in the US. We have a stay at home order, everything is closed. We have two greyhounds that we have to walk each day (or the house suffers). We had been able to go to the beach and walk, stay away from people etc. then last weekend (a beautiful sunny day) people from Portland Oregon and Seattle swamped the beaches like it was spring break...wall to wall stupidity. Now the beaches are closed and we can only walk the houndies up and down the street. We are both doing ok so far even tho my husband was in contact with people in Seattle who had traveled to Florida. It's unusually quiet and today it's raining and suppose to rain through next week.
