I had forgotten all about this, but it says it's last year, and it says Halloween. Based on that I'm posting this little series of shorts for the first day of our nod to the season.

And this, for a little bonus ;). When this was first posted, there was a challenge to write a short story or Drabble based on it.  That's still open.
