Reasonably Pretty - A Little Drabble Do Ya
The set of his jaw told Napoleon that the Russian was less than pleased with the latest development.
“Look, Illya… I had no idea.’
The expression didn’t change, Napoleon’s part in this was not an issue.
“Mr. Waverly thinks you’re … um, qualified.”
“Qualified? Of course I am qualified to judge the attributes of women as they parade across a stage. I find it difficult to believe, however, that you are not even more qualified than I.”
Napoleon had to agree.
“Just watch out for Miss Netherlands, she’s been known to exact retribution on unfriendly judges before.”
“Really?”
“Scout’s honor.”
