The Reading Room - Whirligig by Martin Feekins

Here's a fun read and one that I'd never ventured into previously.  Solo and Kuryakin get caught in a Time Travel exploit with a cheeky innocent from the 21st Century.  It's a hoot and a holler from one century to the next, so I hope you'll give it a go.

I don't know when I've enjoyed a story so much! Tightly written, and absolutely riveting. Thanks for the rec!

Oh, that was actually quite good! I am always a bit skeptical about time travel stories, but this one held my interest all the way through, and certainly made for a pleasant Friday evening's read. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi, I'm Martin Feekins, who wrote The Whirligig of Time Affair. I just wanted to say thanks for the kind comments and I'm glad people are still finding the story after all these years. Not wishing to blow my own trumpet too much, but should you be interested, there is another story of mine on File40, The Superhuman Affair, which teams UNCLE with those other 60s TV super agents, The Champions.

Hi, not a better paying gig, but I am trying to write my own stuff rather than fanfic. That said, even though it was some years ago that I wrote my couple of UNCLE stories, I am tempted to try another. They were such a favourite of mine, along with various other 1960s' TV heroes. I'm not sure what a movie would add, beyond perhaps raising the profile, but we'll see.
