Okay, I ran across this story and decided it wouldn't hurt to take another look.  It's one of my early efforts, and if you'll indulge me (just a little), I'm going to recommend it today.  And, in the spirit of nepotism (something we can indulge for weeks), please send me links to one of your favorite stories and we'll spend a few Fridays reliving some of our early works. Here's your opportunity to showcase some longer stories that may not have made it into Section VII.
We can call it Writer's Choice.
 I guess I'm going first, and I warn you, there are mistakes in it.  One of these days I'll clean it up, but in the meantime...

Thank you very much; you probably missed it because it's old :D I hope everyone will come up with stories for me to post, I think it will be a nice change to see some longer work here by our regulars.

I've grabbed this for better days. when I have the time to enjoy it, and I was trying to kindle it without looking, to avoid too many spoilers at the end of each chapter!!! It looks terrific.

I'm fighting myself not to read it, until things are better.
