After several hours trapped in the stone chamber water started creeping in.

“Ah, I think we may have a problem here, tovarisch.”

“I wonder where it is coming from.”

Napoleon scrabbled around peering into the dark recesses of the room, trying to identify the source.

“It seems to be coming from everywhere.”

It wasn’t long before it was up to their ankles and it was still rising,
Solo looked at the roof, the square metal grate through which they’d been lowered, six feet above them.

“I wonder how high the water gets?”

“I believe we are going to find out.”
