An Apple A Day - A Little Drabble Do Ya

Illya Kuryakin had returned to Headquarters with two apples in his pockets.  At present the fruit was being dissected and analyzed for their content, much to the amusement of his partner.
“So Illya, find anything interesting in those apples?”
The Russian gave an almost imperceptible shake of his head.  Napoleon thought he looked slightly disappointed.
“Nothing out of the ordinary.  It seems that apples are merely … apples.  It was a whim, nothing more.”
“So, how do you feel about that?”
The expression could be likened to a slow burn.
“Are you playing therapist now?”
“Are you playing patient?”
“Blockhead.”

IK was musing on the analogy of good and evil, and apples... Could there be something in apples that hold the secret of life? It's the scientist in him.
