Writer's Choice : The 'Avignon' Affair

frenchbike

For this week's Writer's Choice, I went back to a series I did with Mister Waverly as a young man on his first real adventure, The 'Avignon' Affair. I've always harbored a lot of fondness for Number One of Section One, which I hope came through.

So glad you posted a link to this...the start of a wonderful love story. No one writes Mr. Waverly and the future Missus like you do. Your historical references in this piece were outstanding!

Thanks for joining in the Writer's Choice today!

She's the best Mrs. Waverly. I even like her better than my own incarnation of his wife, Estelle. :D

Oh yes, I loved that one. And its sequel, The Correspondence Affair.

I love your Alexander and Millicent series. The little details of your characterization really give the young couple depth, and help them to feel real. I think of all your stories, this series is my favorite. Thanks for reposting Avignon.
